We Stan a Power Bottom
If there was any sculpture that could be called the gayest, it would be this. Donatello's David (1450s) is a bastion of homoerotic glory. From his booty to his tooty, he is the one twink to rule them all. Step aside haters, because this David embodies queer culture in Renaissance Florence and even Michelangelo's legendary twunk is quaking.

New Fave Podcast
This review is long overdue, as someone who has listened to every episode and whose life significantly improved because of it. Last year i discovered Artsistory and it has since become one of my top 3 favorite podcasts of all times. It’s smart and funny and intimate. I am a painter and have always been interested in art and art history. As well as learning a lot of new things about art, i also felt at times like i was laughing and bantering with my best friends. I find that lot of art criticism and wall texts i come across are often really vague and/or incomprehensible in an attempt to sound smart. Therefore it was refreshing to listen to a more straightforward and accessible approach. Thank you so much for this incredible content! Y’all made my life better as i followed your journey and I just really want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your work.
Art, fun and some history sprinkled in
Art is hard to bring to life without sounding stuffy and I believe the sisters do a good job. Honestly the first explicit art history show I have ever heard and it is hilarious. Awesome stuff! Please keep it up and everyone should listen and see this stuff with their own eyes. Hilarious. After being under the chapel and seeing what you are talking about I laughed pretty hard.
Facts
I never knew how little I really don't know about art till now. The Podcast is filled with so much information it blows my mind. Great Show!!
