How Enterprises Can Reduce Risk of Deep Fakes and Other Cyber Attacks

Tyler Reese, director of product management for Netwrix, a software vendor that delivers effective and accessible cybersecurity to organizations of all sizes joins Enterprise Radio.

This episode of Enterprise Radio is on association with the Cyber Security Channel.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Tyler Reese discuss the following:

    * AI is undoubtedly the #1 topic in any tech room these days. Like any technology, it can be used both for good and for bad. What are the main AI-associated threats anyone should be aware of nowadays?

    * Can you give us examples of how such deep fake attacks occur?

    * What can security teams do to mitigate the risk of such an attack?

    * It sounds like the industry’s best security practice is just enough to face the AI threat. Don’t we need anything much more sophisticated?

    * So, is it all about security teams taking care of these threats?

TIP: AI is a powerful tool, and the world has just entered this new era. However, strong basics originating from proven security practices are enough to significantly mitigate risk. In fact, if an organization’s IT infrastructure is too complicated to infiltrate, threat actors will move towards an easier target.

Tyler Reese has over two decades of experience in the software security industry and holds a current CISSP. His professional experience ranges from identity and access management (IAM) consulting for Fortune 500 companies to being an enterprise architect of a large direct-to-consumer company. As a product director for the IAM portfolio at Netwrix, he is responsible for evaluating market trends, supporting relations with the analyst community, setting the direction for the IAM product line — and ultimately, fulfilling the needs of end-users.

Revolutionizing Waste Management: The American AF Dumpster Rentals Story with Josh Roman

Josh Roman, the Owner of American AF Dumpster Rentals that offers dumpster rental services across the Dallas, TX metropolitan area, catering to both residential and commercial clients joins Enterprise Radio.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Josh Roman discuss the following:

    * Could you share the story behind the founding of American Af Dumpster Rentals and what inspired you to enter the dumpster rental business?
    * In what ways does American Af Dumpster Rentals stand out from other companies in the industry, and what unique services or approaches do you offer?
    * Can you discuss the environmental impact of waste management and how American Af Dumpster Rentals is addressing sustainability in its operations?
    * What have been some of the biggest challenges and successes you’ve experienced while running American Af Dumpster Rentals?
    * Looking towards the future, what plans or goals does American Af Dumpster Rentals have to evolve and grow in the waste management industry?

Back in 2007, I embarked on a thrilling journey into the American Dream by launching “Heaven on Wheels,” a distinctive limo service in the bustling heart of Dallas. We spent years enhancing memorable occasions with our unique and exotic limousines. However, 2020 brought unprecedented challenges, and it seemed like my piece of the “American Dream” was turning into a nightmare. The pandemic brought everything to a halt, raising fears about the future of our limos.
Yet, this is America – a land brimming with opportunities and a culture that celebrates resilience and innovation. I had over a decade of experience in the limo business, handling the most important of responsibilities: transporting people. It dawned on me that if I could do that, I could certainly manage waste transportation. Starting a business during a pandemic might seem crazy, but I took that leap. This bold move led to the birth of American AF Dumpsters, marking my most significant comeback. Plus, Heaven On Wheels bounced back, a true blessing.
Through tough times, I constantly reminded myself that I had overcome challenges before. With unwavering determination and a bit of American grit, I transformed a modest 14-foot cargo trailer into our first dumpster. Astonishingly, within three hours of listing it on Craigslist, we had our first customer. The journey wasn’t easy, and there were rough patches, but embodying the American spirit means facing challenges head-on.
Today, what began as a simple solution has expanded into a fleet of sturdy trucks with 15, 20, 25, and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters. We’ve served over 500 residential and commercial clients in Dallas and its environs. American AF Dumpsters is more than a company; it’s a symbol of the American resolve to overcome and adapt. We’re excited to demonstrate the caliber of our services to you. Perhaps using one of our dumpsters will be the start of your own comeback story. For individuals, homes, or businesses, American AF Dumpsters isn’t just about offering dumpster rentals; we provide a chance for a new beginning. And I believe that’s something everyone deserves.

Finding it helpful as a new business owner

Just started my own business in 2021, and found this podcast to be short, informative, and thought provoking.

The recent episode with Rob Shallenberger has given me some good ideas on how to be less distracted and more productive in my business.
