Another great interview with our expert on the federal judicial system  In this episode, Todd Foster, a former FBI Agent and federal prosecutor, who is now a federal defense attorney continues to explain not only how Joe was up against incredible odds during his federal trial, but breaks down specific choices made and how they may have impacted the jury.  We also hear a lot from Joe himself regarding his thoughts about the judge and what he considers to be his ineffective counsel.   We also learn what Joe believes was the real agenda for this case.  A provocative conversation on all fronts!

This episode is one of two that really help our audience understand what Joe Exotic was up against, when facing federal prosecutors.  The Feds are a tough bunch in the courtroom and our guest, Todd Foster, knows all about it.  Todd is a former FBI agent, who then became a federal prosecutor before moving into his current role of federal defense attorney.  A rock star on all fronts, and a legal expert that has much to impart about how the whole system works.  Although the federal legal system can be complicated, he is able to explain it to the average listener in conversational and captivating ways. And, as always, Joe has a few choice things to say about his trial as well!

This week’s guest in Vernon Yates, a legend in the animal world, and founder of Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in Florida.  Featured on The Netflix Series, “Tiger King”, Vernon is as outspoken as Joe Exotic on Carole Baskin and the federal agencies that oversee wildlife.  A man who has had his fair share of run-ins with all - especially the USDA, the very agency that went after Joe Exotic and turned him into the FBI.  Vernon is a great interview!
