Let’s Grow – Ep 4 – The Journey to Authenticity
It’s becoming increasingly cool to just be you. Remember those school days when you felt like you had to behave in a certain way? However, this struggle still exists today. We have all had moments since our youth where we might feel we need to act in a certain way, perhaps around a certain individual, group or place of work.
Join myself, Hannah Brier, and Tom Loeffert, Vice President for Human Resources at Fluke Reliability, where Tom shares with us his personal journey to being his authentic self and the importance of making sure we all make this journey.
I hope you enjoy the show and please do share this episode to someone you feel would benefit from listening. Enjoy!!

Let's Grow - Ep 3 - “Failure is success in progress”
Yes, I’ve used an Albert Einstein quote as the title for this episode, but how could I not!? I also quote Einstein in my summary at the end of the episode, not quite sure what came over me.. but again how could I not use this?! - “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”. In other words, get our your comfort zones, give it a whirl, if you fail, try again.
Emmie Faust appeared on series 5 of BBC’s Dragons’ Den where she and her business partner secured a £200,000 record investment from Theo Paphitis. The business ending up failing which led Emmie to feel embarrassed for some time. This public eye failure wasn’t easy, however the learnings from it have been invaluable to Emmie and her success today. Since then Emmie has set up, scaled and sold many successful businesses and is almost certain the not so easy public failure was a key ingredient to her success today.
Join myself, host Hannah Brier, and Emmie Faust, as we explore Emmie’s business failure and most importantly the learnings and successes that have come from it.
P.s – Thanks Albert Einstein.
Is Technology the Catalyst for a Transformation?
We have often remarked that without the required capability, it is impossible to change/transform. But just because you have the capability, it doesn’t mean you will. In essence, choosing a solution or technology is often the easy bit, but actually getting an organisation to commit to changing and then executing on the change is by far the most difficult task.
This episode will explore the complexities of enabling a business transformation and the role that technology can play as a catalyst and enabler for the transformation. We will discuss the importance of building the central argument/strategy to secure stakeholder support /commitment, working alongside key stakeholders in finance and procurement, but also the process of finding the right solution and partner to enable the transformation.
- Change and Transformation – what do they really mean?
- The challenge of gaining executive and line of business support to change?
- The complexities of securing investment amid competing priorities
- Using technology as a catalyst to accelerate and effect a change in the organisation
- The criticality of change management to embed and anchor the change
- Top Tips / Guidance for Listeners
