    In this episode I chat to Steph, a junior yacht stewardess who has now been in the industry for one year. We talk about her experiences so far, lessons learned onboard, how she found out about yachting and landed her first job (during Covid), what she expected and what was surprising for her to learn as she navigated the intricacies of breaking into the superyachting industry.  As Steph now steps into a new role on a charter boat she gives some wise words to green crew who are about to embark on their yachting career. Sharing the self doubt she experienced when she was in Palma thinking I’ve got no experience, I’ve chosen the wrong job, I’m here at the wrong time, I’m never going to get a job to proving others wrong and overcoming it all when she finally landed the dream job at sea.
