What About the Last D? Fighting Forgetfulness Journey With Me Through ADHD: A podcast for kids

Educator, speaker, and author of "Hi, It's Me! I have ADHD," provides a glimpse into the world of ADHD forgetfulness. Do you ever find that things leave your mind as fast as information is given?! Being forgetful is a struggle many with ADHD have, and there is a reason why! This episode will share personal examples, visual analogies, and strategies to use while traveling on this ADHD journey. Forgetfulness may be something that will never go away, but our attitude towards it can shift. We are soldiers, who need to fight the forgetfulness battle with "armor"/strategies that work for us as individuals (phone alarms/reminders, checklists, visual timers, visual schedules, scaling down tasks given, creating a manageable system and structure for our unique mind to become in the habit of following, and most importantly, find forgiveness and grace in the moments in between when still do forget.
