#196: The Integrity Of Jem‪!‬ Toy Power Podcast

This week on the Toy Power Podcast we are unfortunately down a few members, however, Ben & Darren are joined by Special Guest: Damian aka @Truly_Truly_Truly_Outrageous - Our local Jem & The Holograms expert!!  The 35th Anniversary of the Jem property kicked off this year; and we deep dive into what the is happening to celebrate this milestone event.  Integrity Toys are certainly leading the march with a second wave of Jem products that are just gorgeous in hand!  Listen in & find out how the world has helped get behind this milestone - with makeup, custom outfits, song covers and even signings from the original voice actors!  Damian has brought the first two sets of the Integrity Dolls, released as part of the 35th anniversary into our studio, & we study them quite closely pointing out all their great features they offer - including the environmentally friendly aspects!  Up And Rockin' Set - Jem & Jerrica - flip side gift-set - which utilises a very unique way of swapping between the two alter egos.  As well as the Perfect Match 3pk Set.  These 35th figures are much more show/cartoon accurate in comparison to previous releases; with true attention to detail for this round of packaging including art work & other aspects that hits all the nostalgic areas.  Find out the hurdles one has to jump through to buy these though - join the "W" to enter a lottery to hopefully get a chance to buy these figures?!?!  We also have a general chat around Jem distribution in OZ.  Then we finish off the episode by diving into the Jem universe and find out who in the show sported a moustache?!
