The Elephant and Mahout Relationship with Maria Chen
Thailand's elephant tourism camps are famous around the world, thanks to social media. Many are closed now due to Covid-19, and Maria Chen and I sit down to talk about the welfare of elephants inside and outside of tourism camps. We also discuss the history of elephants in Thailand, the relationship between mahouts and their elephants, how travel bans are affecting elephants and their mahouts, and everything else that Maria learned while spending a month in Thailand, at the Mahouts Elephant Foundation, observing elephants.

Street Dogs In Qatar
In this episode, we discuss the quality of life for dogs in the middle eastern country, Qatar. Street dogs roam the streets of Qatar suffering from malnutrition, disease, injuries, and dying litters.
