Women In Politics
This episode of She’s Got Issues, we will talk to two SC women about running and serving in political office. Melissa Watson Ward is the Executive Director of Emerge SC, and Tameika Devine currently serves on the City Council in Columbia, SC, and is running for Mayor. The focus of the episode is to put a personal face on challenges ordinary people face, and show how the right people in elected office can effect meaningful change.
