Shalom and welcome to our study. In this section, we're going to study the last few verses of Luke's Gospel chapter 13. And we should expect something Messiah understood that in the last days, there would be that remnant of Israel that came to faith. In fact, the apostle Paul, in Romans chapter 11, he also anticipated a time when Jewish people would indeed except Messiah. And in fact, we know what is going to bring about that wonderful change.

We need to see that faith in God is practical meaning this when we apply biblical truth to our life, it is going to have real and measurable outcome and outcome a result that is good, as I said at our prayer, an outcome that blesses us. This is God's nature. God loves to bless. But those blessings are conditional. They are conditionally upon us, embracing God through faith, through that gospel message.

So as we concluded our last session, that no one will be able to enter into the kingdom of God through their own strength. In order to enter into God's kingdom. We need supernatural strength, we need a heavenly connection. And as we discuss, that only comes to a person through faith. And that gospel message, believing with a full faith in the fact that Messiah, He poured out His blood in order that we could be eternally redeemed, and that we could experience everlasting victory.

Being persecuted for once faith is not new. We see it in regard to the nation of Israel, for doing the will of God, being used by the Lord for His purposes, Israel suffered. And we also see through the faith in Messiah Yeshua, that early believers, many were put to death. They too were persecuted and many scattered, because of the intensity of the persecution.
