Physicians, not the government, will save U.S. healthcare - Dr. Brent Lacey The Scope of Practice Podcast

    • Careers

Episode 100 - This is a bittersweet episode for me, since it’s going to be my final podcast.  The last 2 years has been a phenomenal journey for all of us. I’ve gotten emails from so many of you telling me how valuable this content has been, and I’m so grateful to have been part of your journey.  I set out to create a platform to empower physicians to take control of their careers, their families, and their personal finances.  My hope was to embolden you with knowledge and encouragement so you can live your best life on your terms.  Now, after over 75,000 downloads, 100 weekly episodes, and 19 Sunday Specials, I hope I’ve given you some of those tools that you need.
That’s why I’m so excited about today’s discussion.  As physicians, I think we know better than anyone else what we need to take care of our patients.  The government isn’t coming to help us.  The government is full of people who don’t know or can’t understand how to care for patients because they’ve never had to do it.  You’re a physician. You should be the one in charge of making decisions for your patients.  If we’re going to make that a reality, we have to start by taking charge of ourselves.

Most physicians and dentists come out of training programs with a huge amount of personal debt and little to no idea of how to actually run a clinical practice.  This Facebook community is for anyone who wants to learn more about how to manage their business more successfully and master their personal finances.
