- Society & Culture
Primarily about health, both mental and physical, and all the topics that can encompass that, this podcast will cover living balanced lifestyles, self-care, healing, addressing our toxic traits, relationship advice, personal growth, and how to approach physical fitness without all of the "quick tricks" the fitness industry tries to sell us. Sometimes episodes can be more factual and research-based, other times I'm just expressing my thoughts or starting conversation. Overall, my goal with this podcast is to talk about human things and our experiences.

Episode 5: Philosophizing with Deb, part 2 (religion and spirituality)
My conversation with Deborah is continued in this episode, where we talk about our childhood church and the specific rules or ideologies that have caused us more harm than good. We talk about our growth, both mentally and spiritually, in and outside of religion, and how Deborah has flourished and found freedom through her faith, which has evolved to look different from the one we grew up with. I explain my growth and freedom outside of religion, while still holding on to important lessons and principles Jesus taught. Enjoy the episode!

Episode 4: Talks with Deb, part 1
Deborah is a professional billboard charting singer/songwriter and content creator who happens to also be a childhood friend of mine. We had barely seen each other after I had left the church we both grew up in, but we kept in touch via social media throughout the years. Once we got together, the conversations were saucy and exposing!
After so long apart, we caught up on what we've been up to. We reveal our not-so-pleasant experiences in the industry, how we've learned to navigate our way through, the need for constructive criticism and whether or not we intend on continuing our journey as artists. And that's just part 1!
Part 2 coming next week. In part 2, we discuss our faith, our departure from our childhood church, and how we are unlearning some principles we no longer agree with. Stay tuned!

Episode 3: Valentine's Day
My fiance traveled far and wide (from the couch to the computer) to record this Valentine's Day episode with me! We talk about dating during the pandemic, love languages, how we personally handle disagreements, and we answer some of the questions submitted by my Instagram followers.

Episode 2: Take Me Seriously
You've set your goal, you've dreamt your dream, and now you've announced to yourself and others that THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE! Except...no one takes you seriously. You are met with cynicism, disbelief, or a pure comedic reaction. It can be disheartening when those around you don't think that your dreams or goals are achievable. Self-doubt creeps in, and suddenly something you were so ready to tackle seems further out of reach. In this episode, we'll talk about the need to be taken seriously and how to get other people to respect and support you while you work on achieving those goals. Most importantly, we'll talk about ways we sabotage ourselves through our behaviors, thought processes, and self-doubt. No one can take you seriously until you take you seriously.
