    My Survival ft. Evelyn

    My Survival ft. Evelyn

We refuse to live our lives as victims. One in 4 women and one in 10 men experience intimate partner violence.  During this Pandemic, numbers have globally increased.  It's so important to understand that being a victim does not dictate staying a victim.  It takes courage, strength, and a tremendous amount of self-love to over come.  Here is just one of many survivors willing to share their story and testify, there is a rainbow after the storm.

My Mother, My Enemy??? Part 2 ft. Stacy

My Mother, My Enemy??? Part 2 ft. Stacy

The definition of mother per Webster is "a woman in authority".  The definition of mother is much more complex than that.  Mother is God in the eyes of a child, even when that child is an adult.  In this episode, we explore a mother's decision regarding her child ultimately creates a stronger foundation for that child's independence in this world! Although cliché, what doesn't kill makes us invincible.

Ratchet and Educated ft. Nina & LA

Its perfectly ok and NORMAL to have your professional side and your personal side.  There is no need to compromise them.  One can coexist with the other.  What you do in your personal life SHOULD never be mixed with your personal.  You define who you are.  Never forget your roots.  We didn't and we turned out to be happy productive citizens LOL!

My Mother, My Enemy??? Part 1 ft. Nina & LA

My Mother, My Enemy??? Part 1 ft. Nina & LA

This episode explores the estranged relationships with mothers and daughters that many women face, whether its from being adopted or their mother’s dormant maternal behavior towards responsibility of raising a child. We establish that having the mother in the home is not a guarantee of maternal love. Life is funny that way. Things that should be a given are often not. But we are resilient. We take 1 bad lemon, and we make gallons of lemonade!!

    The Thick Standards ft. Nina

    The Thick Standards ft. Nina

Women's health is being compromised in order to meet society's "Thick Standards".  Sometimes, its costing them their life and limbs.  Trying to fit society's artificial mold of body perfection is causing emotional and physical stress to some women.  The statement, "Love yourself" may be cliché  but it's a statement that if taken to heart will allow women to own their sexy no matter what their body form is.  Love yourself more than anyone else can and you can conquer anything!

    Catch and Release ft. Nina

    Catch and Release ft. Nina

This podcast focuses on the woes of dating in a relationship.  We discuss the difference in supporting someone versus crippling yourself.  Its one thing to be there for a partner and to help them through life's storms but its a different story when you are dealing with someone with undiagnosed mental health concerns.  As women, we are great, but we are not all licensed therapists.  We try to take on the world and while doing that, we inadvertently lose ourselves.  Know when to recognize if building someone else us up tears you down.  You have to know when to exit for your own mental health.
