Հոգով մանկանալու և վերստին ծնվելու Քրիստոսի ուսուցումը. «Ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, եթե չդառնաք ու չլինեք մանուկների պես, երկնքի արքայությունը չեք մտնի» (Մատթ. ԺԸ 3)։ «Թո՛ւյլ տվեք այդ մանուկներին և մի՛ արգելեք, որ նրանք Ինձ մոտ գան, որովհետև երկնքի արքայությունը այդպիսիններինն է» (Մատթ. ԺԹ 14)։ Մանուկների դաստիարակումն իբրև Աստծո զավակներ հրեական և հայկական ավանդույթում։ Եկեղեցին իբրև մանուկների հայրենի օթևան. «Ինչո՞ւ էիք Ինձ փնտրում, չգիտեի՞ք, որ Ես Հորս տանը պետք է լինեմ» (Ղուկ. Բ 49)։
