We close out our Thursday's show in traditional fashion as we go to school with Jesse Newell the Chiefs beat writer for the KC Star.  Jesse will be covering the Royals and Guardians big series over the weekend at The K so the fellas preview that huge match up.  Then Jesse shares what he's been working in regards to his newest story about Chris Jones and the Chiefs starting Training Camp in just a few weeks.

In the third hour of the show Steven is joined by former Chiefs Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter in studio for their weekly segments.   The boys discuss an array of topics from Travis Kelce's performance in Wembley, The Chiefs Hallmark Christmas movie, to Gehrig almost beating down some deserving Pickleball players who may or may not have been in high school.  They also get into a lot more of their regular nonsense.

Steven starts the 2nd Hour off by talking to weekly guest MLB Insider Buster Olney of ESPN.  The guys go over the biggest headlines in baseball and recap the Royals recent struggles and their series win over the Marlins to kick off the homestand.  Then they preview the massive 4 games series that kicks off against the Division Leaders Cleveland Guardians tonight.  They also discuss the current trade market.

In the last hour of the show Steven and Nate talk with Royals Sr. Vice President, Major League Operations/Assistant GM Scott Sharp about the Royals.  Scott talks about the tough road trip the guys just came off of and the loss to the Marlins last night and how he thinks they will bounce back today.  He also shares his thoughts on the Seth Lugo and his great start last night and his season so far.  Next SSJ plays some sound from Eliah Drinkwitz about the SEC and his recruiting class and then preview some of the NBA Draft that takes place tonight.

In the 3rd hour of the show Steven talks Chiefs and NFL with Matt Derrick of chiefsdigest.com. Matt weighs in on the Chiefs roster talking about the Offensive side of the ball and how things might shake out.  Then SSJ checks in with intern YuYu on how the summer has been going.
