Ieva Biteniece: Effects of Covid on Traveling Entrepreneur
Explored one of my favorite secret locations along the Los Angeles coastline with European native Ieva Biteniece. The spot sits at the edge of the coast, equipped with a handmade bench embellished with sea shells and a bonfire pit to warm you up while listening to the crashing waves. I had the pleasure of meeting Ieva at a random sunrise dance session on a mountain to come to find out...DANCE is who she is! She turned her passion for dance into a business, Dance Prox (www.danceprox.com). Her passion to express her body through movement is how we originally met and what brings this European native from Latvia back to Los Angeles. She is here to learn from other dancing creatives and hone in on her craft in order to bring more expressions of movement back to her homeland. Things were going per-usual until a pandemic interrupted her plans and forced her in seclusion, extending her stay until further notice in a foreign land. She adjusted and strived forward.
