Live From The National with Darrell Chan Reporting From Cleveland with All the Pros and Cons of the 44th Show
EPISODE 227 - Clark welcomes back Darrell Chan (aka DC) to the pod recording from the National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland.
He gives a live update on how the 44th National is including the wifi and air conditioning situation, why there's been crazy traffic to the IX Center, plus the crazy deals he's made at the show already and the crazy cards he's picked up.
Darrell also gives some pros (ie. great attendance this year) and cons (ie. trade nights are not as organized; washrooms are far apart) of the event this year, and whether the National should be worried about the upcoming Fanatics Fest in August.
He also gives some great tips for anyone attending the show when it comes to buying and selling.

What the National Should Focus On This Year; Dissecting the Topps Exchange Program for Open Redemptions
EPISODE 224 - Clark and Hyung start the Friday episode talking about the Topps Exchange Program recently announced for collectors to trade in open redemptions for a special card worth anywhere between $50 to $7,500.

PSA All-Star List of Most Graded Players in 2024 Yields Surprising Picks; Walmart Launches Own Collectilbes Platform; Another Round of "Quiz Show"
EPISODE 223 - Clark, Hyung, and John open the show talking about Walmart getting into the hobby space by launching its own collectibles platform. And John offers a couple of ideas for Walmart to best succeed especially if it's competing against eBay.
Then the guys take a look at the PSA All-Star baseball roster for the AL and NL, which is based on the most-graded baseball cards for each position during the 2024 season so far. There's one big surprise in the AL pitching position and the difference from the real MLB All-Star roster vs the PSA list make for interesting discussion.
Then Clark hosts another round of Quiz Show for Hyung and John before ending the episode with their weekly Pick 1 segment.

Plus he answers all the questions newbie Star Wars collectors might ask. And Glen also shares why he's so bullish on Star Wars cards using data and plenty of anecdotes.
