- This podcast episode is about what diversity means to each individual, how it effects their lives and why diversity is a good thing. This topic has such a wide meaning and I think people tend to overlook it too much. Diversity is all around us, it's on the shows we watch, the food we eat, the students we chat with, it's literally everywhere!!! Another purpose for this podcast that I had was to prove to people that diversity changed the world and the way we see it . Diversity is a critical element on how to work together well. It incorporates all of things that make students and adults unique from one another. Most of us define diversity by a few social categories like gender, culture, and age etc.
