Peggy Miculo is a Londoner living in Madrid. Despite living with a Spanish partner for two years, her Spanish skills are poo. She thought she would 'assimilate' the language and be fluent by now. She needs a kick up the arse to learn and practice properly.
In this lighthearted series we follow Peggy as she struggles with being isolated by the language barrier while trying to build a new life away from home.

The coronavirus episode (naturally)
Actually this episode is not about coronavirus but it kind of creeps in. That's what a virus does!
Social isolation is also caused by the language barrier, as Peggy painfully points out.
She also clears up some silly grammatical mistakes and does a brief monologue in Spanish at the end. She wishes that Spanish politicians new how to deliver a brief monologue – as they tend to go on and on without pausing for breath. -
As fast as a cucumber
Perfecto versus Preterito
Verb patterns
Tan, Tanto, Tantos, Tanta, Tantas -
Do you need a kick up the arse with your Spanish?
