Never Black Enough Dylan Black

- Society & Culture
Learn about racism with and FROM from someone who was 'never black enough.' I know ya’ll need to learn some history and facts in light of what is happening in the world and this is NOT the time for some white person to educate you, so I invite you to learn along WITH me, and hopefully that will be a bit less awkward.

Episode 16 - Botham Jean
Next in my "Say Their Name" series is Botham Jean. Botham was sitting in his apartment, eating ice cream, when off-duty officer Amber Guyger entered and shot him. Although she claimed she thought she was entering her own apartment and believed Botham was an intruder, she lived mere blocks away from a police station and could have phoned in back up within minutes. Nonetheless, she chose to enter the property and then fatally shot an innocent man.
