As we have been living our lives behind masks, we now have a harder time connecting with each other. The mask helps protect us but it can also be a barrier to relating to the outside world. It can cause loneliness and a sense of isolation. In this episode I discuss how to use small talk to connect, to feel more in community and to boost our mood. I discuss what small talk feels like to both the extrovert and the introvert. I also help you see ways you can use small talk to feel more connected to people and find opportunities for longer conversations.
