Presented by Dr. Mark Hugo Lopez, Director of global migration and demography research, Pew Research Center Pew Research Center has published a report measuring the size and characteristics of the unauthorized immigrant population in Europe, providing the first comprehensive set of estimates of Europe’s unauthorized immigrants in nearly a decade.  In this session, Dr. Mark Hugo Lopez will present the Center’s new estimates and the demographic composition of this population. The presentation will also include a comparison between the US and Europe, and a discussion of the methods used in developing these new estimates.
