We very often hear of Unity in Diversity. While in school we would have speeches that included this phrase every now and then. But do we know or actually appreciate the nuances of this term. India is diverse in every aspect - religion, culture, language, customs, traditions, way of dressing - and because of this it is so important that we remain united inspite of all the diverseness across the length and the breadth of the country. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas aims at trying to link the citizens of the country and build in them a pride for the differences and a resulting appreciation.
