Miguel Barretto García I Balak sa Kadlawon
Every episode, there will be a theme that will navigate within the poem of the day. For the third episode, we have Miguel Barretto García's "Balak sa Kadlawon."
Miguel writes poems in English and Cebuano and has performed in poetry slams and spoken word events in London and Switzerland. Their poems have appeared in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Cordite Poetry Review, The Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, and Rattle. They are currently completing their Ph.D. in decision neuroscience at the University of Zurich.

Ester Tapia I Labing Hanas nga Tigbugsay
Every episode, there will be a theme that will navigate within the poem of the day. For the fourth episode, we have Ester Tapia's "Labing Hanas nga Tigbugsay."
Ester Tapia is an awardee of the Gawad Balagtas for Cebuano Poetry (2019). She also won the Gawad Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (Unang Ganti for Cebuano Poetry). She is one of the authors of Duhawit (2018) and Sinug-ang (1999). She is actively publishing her works in KABISDAK, a website that is moderated by Michael Obenieta.
