Identifying a need to extend her impact, she founded Digital Health Co, a venture aimed at supporting both clients and the salons dedicated to their care, blending her expertise in skin health with digital innovation. Nestled on a picturesque 12-acre property between Harvey Bay and Bundaberg, Karen established the renowned Karen Geiszler Hair and Beauty Laser and IPL clinic, realizing her dream of achieving a work-life balance.
But Karen's journey doesn't stop there. Fueled by a desire to give back to the industry that had brought her immense joy, she embarked on a mission in 2006 to obtain training qualifications. She recognized the challenges faced by sole operators and businesses in regional areas, often having to leave their clinics for training, incurring additional expenses for travel and accommodation.
It was this realization that gave birth to KG Beauty and Modality Training, a groundbreaking concept that brings customized training right to the doorstep of your clinic. Karen travels to both city and regional locations across Australia, minimizing business disruption and saving valuable resources that would typically be spent on travel and accommodation.
Karen's passion for sharing her knowledge with fellow therapists, especially those in regional areas, shines through her work. Her unwavering commitment to excellence earned her recognition as a finalist in two prestigious categories at the 2021 Australian Beauty Industry Awards: Educator of the Year (individual) and Sole Operator of the Year.
