Según lo menciona Arturo Pérez-Reverte en la novela: El club Dumas, las Nueve Puertas fue escrito por un tal "Arístide Torchia" que, a su vez, recibió esos conocimientos arcanos del propio Lucifer. En este sentido, podemos pensarlo como un vástago del Delomelanicon.
