EV52 - Leon Vockensperger, eye of the tiger kind of vibe‪.‬ Estamos Vivos

This was an unexpected chat to be honest.
I had Leon on my radar since watching him at the Laax Open going all in with style and charisma, and even then I thought to myself it was a matter of time until we would see him snatching podiums all over the globe.
This last season I had the opportunity to go to with the Burton Europe Crew to the Mistery Series at Flachauwinkl and there I met some of the athletes on the team including Leon.
The all around vibe was a pretty nice one and maybe that helped but I think Leon turne out to be the most latin german I met. Upbeat, friendly, smiley and full of energy.
Some of the traits that brought Leon to the podium at the Laax Open, World Cups and even the last Olimpics, representing Germany on Slopestyle and BiG Air.
After I researched a little bit I could recognize a path that wasn’t a smooth one, and together with the way we hit it off at the mountain it was enough for me to dig deeper and get to know more about Leon and I did, and you will get to know whats behind every landed trick, every fall and the mental game needed to keep walking as close as you can to your passion.

Thanks for being on the other side, today we meet Leon Vockensperger.
