The Nuggets and Lakers had somewhat of a media day yesterday where we heard a lot from Coach Malone on this upcoming series and what it’ll be like for the Nugs to play with a target on their backs. Then, the guys get surprised when our own Denversports.com’s Cecil Lammey showed up to the studio and chats with them about the draft and what we’ll most likely see from the Broncos. Finally, Denver Post Insider Troy Renck joins the show to debate the worst Denver sports contracts of all time and Nuggets vs. Lakers round 1.

Man, Kris Bryant…you really can’t make this stuff up. Is his contract atop the Mount Rushmore of the worst CO sports contracts of all time? Mike was devastated that the Broncos weren’t on Deion Sanders’ list of teams his boys can play for. Well, Deion denies that this lost is even real! Then, Zach Bye comes after Mike on the afternoon drive questioning what mike said about Deion’s portal strategy. Finally, Sal Paolantonio from ESPNs NFL Matchup joins to the show and gives great insight and the available QB’s in the draft and where they’re likely to end up. Oh, and the possibility of seeing Robert Kraft do a cartwheel.

Mike and mark cut Landeskog some slack in terms of the worst contract conversation and say it is not his responsibility to come back and take the Avs to a final appearance. Stink remixes an ABBA song in his honor. The guys update listeners on the Jontay Porter situation before we hear from Michael Malone on how MPJ is coping with all the drama. Finally, Stink and Mike give us their top 4 worst contracts of all time.

Sean Payton and George Paton will step up to the podium for questions today. Mike and Stink ask the listeners what they would ask (wrong answers only) and read the best ones on air. Yesterday Mike said Deion Sanders has laps the rest of college football in terms of NIL/recruiting standards. Zach Bye begs to differ and joins the show to argue his point. Finally, we’re hitting all of the best stories around sports in “What’s Trending”.

Mike and Mark are surprised by the effort they saw last night after it was suggested the Lakers should tank against the Pelicans in order to avoid the Nuggets in the first round. So how do we feel about facing the Lakers? Already annoyed by the BS that accompanies this series? Mike and Mark give an update on our beloved Momma Goose who has laid eggs outside our studio.
