Q: I studied economics. What can I do in fashion??
not all of us already have the perfect plan for our career from a young age.
So what happens if you have just realized you want to work in fashion but you didn't go to a fashion school?
Or what if fashion has always been a passion of yours but you just opted for a more generic degree like economics and now you want to follow your passion and break into this industry?
Contrary to popular belief you can work in fashion whatever you studied.
In this episode I'll share what in particular you can do, so the jobs you can get in fashion if you studied economics and what is the skill you should develop to be more marketable for jobs.

6 steps to build your CV/resume when you have no experience to break into fashion
I remember when I had to write my first resume. I was about to graduate in management engineering, I opened a Word document and I stared in front of it for a while looking at an empty page.
I was worried that I couldn’t add anything relevant and so I was thinking: “why would companies want to hire me when they will for sure receive other applications from people with more experience or even better schools?”
Fast forward 10 years later, as a fashion career coach, I’ve learned many things and I know that while it’s normal to have those fears, they were actually living more in my head.
In fact, I broke into fashion with an internship at a top company: Alexander McQueen in the ecommerce department, despite I was still that girl with:
a degree in management engineeringno connectionsnot born and raised in a fashion capital without previous experience in fashion
So yes, it’s absolutely possible to get into fashion even if you have no experience yet (if you think about it’s quite logical, right? Or how would everyone else, including Anna Wintour have done?)
So if you are like me 10 years ago looking to:
write your first resume to apply for your first job in fashion or you already have a resume but you are not getting responses from companies

5 most common resume mistakes in fashion (and how to stop making them)
Are your job applications falling through the craps?
While there could be many reasons why your job applications are not working, your resume is for sure a significant decision-maker for recruiters. You might not be getting the job because of resume mistakes that will prevent your application to go to the next steps.
A recruiter spends on average 3 seconds to decide whether your resume deserves a chance or if it’s better to move on to the next one.
On average 500 resumes are submitted for the same fashion job/internship.
This means that most of the resumes are not read.
Tune in to discover what are the most common resume mistakes made in fashion so you will stop making them.

Why is Anna Wintour so powerful? With Amy Odell author of Anna The Biography
We all know Anna Wintour as the iconic editor-in-chief of Vogue. You might recognize her for the bob cut, her black glasses and her floral dresses.
But she's not only a strong leader with an extraordinary work ethic, and she's neither so cold in reality.
I've been fascinated by Anna Wintour for a long time and if you have read my book Your Fashion Dream Plan you know that there is an illustration as well as a chapter with her name. So I was very excited to sit down with Amy Odell who has just published her book Anna the biography.
Amy has built up Anna Wintour's story by interviewing more than 250 people over the past 3 years.
In this podcast episode we chatted about Anna Wintour:
why she is so powerful in fashion why do people beyond fashion ask for her opinion (including Serena Williams and Bradley Cooper when he had to cast for A star is born). if there is Vogue without Anna Wintourwho could replace her and if the next editor in chief will be as influential as Anna
