When I met Top Crime TV Writer and Producer Craig Gore (S.W.A.T., Chicago, P.D., Cult) 20 years ago he was a screenwritting instructor for Columbia College's Semester in L.A. Program. Little did I know at the time about his rough past using crime as a means for survival growing up in the Carolinas. Reformed, rehabilitated and ready to write about his experiences, Gore proved that writing crime does pay by optioning books, writing pilots and doing his time behind the typewriter to have a successful Hollywood career. He also became an educator and mentor to many screenwriters.
