This message is based on Joshua chapter 1 verse 5 through chapter two verse 5.  It is about how Israel lost the help of God.  And, the marks of true repentance, and how we can return to God and his blessing.

As the Apostle Paul ends the writing of 1 Thessalonians (in 5:16-24), by giving his readers some lasting counsel on how to live their lives in light of the coming rapture.  In the lesson, he deals with the inward attitudes of joy and thankfulness, as well as not quenching the Holy Spirit's ministry in one's heart.

A cruel king gets his payback.  Learning to pray ourselves. Leaving vengeance to God, and acting with civil responsibility.

This is an ongoing study of the Book of the Judges. Today's episode in introductory material.  In an era when all truth seems to be relative, believers need to return to the Word-of-God.

As the Apostle Paul ends his book to the Thessalonians he gives them some very good advice in how they should treat others.

What Biblical convictions, or biased scruples do we need in our lives?  Lesson from Joshua 24:14.  Fearing the Lord should have it proper place in the believer's life.
