This podcast is dedicated to the artist and their story. In 2015, on a small tour with one of my bands, we were listening to podcasts to help pass windshield time. In doing so, we were listening to stories of very famous comedians, actors and musicians. In that moment it hit me that this format should not be reserved for only the most famous of artists. If life has taught me one thing it is that everybody has a story and everybody’s story is unique and interesting.
Upon returning home, I decided that I was going to start up a podcast that seeks to capture the independent artist’s story in a unique, casual, and intimate setting. Behind The Scene was born.
Our goal is simple. We want to create an environment where the artist can tell their story, in their own words for your discovery. Whether it’s someone who is nationally known or someone with only a local following, we wish to shine a light on their journey to and through their art. Thank you for listening.
