Bud Sugar - Bonus Arena, Hull
Episode 1 of the Bonus Arena podcast was a happy accident, created during the making of a short film to celebrate the venue’s first birthday. We got more footage than we could use, so we decided to turn the whole thing into a podcast instead. This means the recording came via the video feed, there’s some shushing on the mics from the band’s shellsuits and it’s more of a Q&A than a discussion due to the nature of the filming. That said, Bud Sugar talk about being the first Hull band to headline the Bonus Arena, featuring on the Hull Icons Wall and diversity in the Hull music scene. Oh, and their desire to have a yacht party…
