Son of Krypton, Kal-El, Clark Kent, an alien, a saviour, a God amongst men. He burned anything he could burn and froze everything that would not. Broke everything that could be wrecked and crushed anything that wouldn’t give in.

The pure wrath of God amalgamated with the sheer will of a man. A being that can't be stopped, never be contained and to challenge its strength was to court death. We would be delusional, if we were to say that we don’t deserve it. For each man he had saved in this mortal wry, the world had only reciprocated by leaving scar on his soul. But for all that had transpired; he always willed on. Kept pursuing the futile effort to bring peace to their lands, keep their loved ones safe and their ruthlessness in check. With hope, the same hope that was instilled by gentle care of a mother who had picked him up from an alien ship, nourished him and bestowed upon the values that would make him a beacon of peace.

But, what happens when that hope is taken away? What happens when you fail and then the world fails you?
