With how much uncertainty we've been living with these past few weeks, it may seem like living in fear is the only option. But the reality is that we cannot be ruled by fear and faith at the same time. God is inviting us to have faith because He is faithful, even amidst the uncertainty!

We live in a world where there is a constant current that threatens to pull us away from what matters most in our lives. And while drifting may feel like something that is beyond our control, it’s a decision that can have dangerous consequences. This week, we’ll discover how to stand firm in the face of drifting, and in doing so, embrace the Greater life and experience the good that God has planned for us!

Did you know that we make 35,000 decisions a day? These decisions are driven by our desire for safety and significance. But what if our definition of security is actually robbing us of the life we are intended to live? As we will discover in the book of Hebrews, Jesus is inviting us to leave the past behind, take some risks, and experience what is GREATER.

Instant communication is constantly at our fingertips. We connect with whoever we want, whenever we want, through emails, text messages, phone calls, and social media. With all of these communication channels accessible to us, we often neglect the most meaningful communication channel of all: prayer. In this week’s sermon, we are reminded that the God of the universe desires to speak to us, and He longs to hear from us! We are invited to experience the power of prayer.

We live in a culture that values truth. We long to find “true north,” but our subjective moral compasses are broken. Instead of looking inside of ourselves for truth, we are invited to stand on the ultimate source of truth, the Word of God. It is in the Bible that we find guidance to help us navigate through cultural temptations and difficult seasons. We don’t have to figure out life’s puzzles on our own. God has provided all that we need in His Word!
