Anne Gregory moved to Louisville in 2001. After professional careers as an engineer and human resources manager, she became a stay at home mom when her children were born. She and her husband Jeff have been married for 24 years and he is her biggest supporter.  For the past 15 years, she has been a tireless crusader for children and families with Autism.  Anne led the FEAT of Louisville organization for five years, serving as its volunteer president. During this time, she helped write grants, organize fundraisers and create programs including the Endeavor Program at Carriage House, Get Your FEAT Wet swim program and Dreams in Motion summer camp.
Late in 2009, Anne stepped down as FEAT’s president to become involved in a grass-roots effort as the Kentucky Chapter Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks, working together with legislators, lobbyists, ABA providers, educators, and parents to help pass Autism insurance legislation in KY. HB159 passed unanimously in 2010 through both the KY House and Senate floors to become the 17th state to enact Autism insurance reform.  She served on the initial Kentucky Applied Behavior Analyst Licensing board as a parent representative. She is currently serving her second and final term on this board.
Anne has been a long time board member for both Carriage House and Bluegrass Center for Autism and remains active in fundraising for these organizations as well as FEAT. She is also a past recipient of the WLKY Bell Award, the Mayor’s Good Neighbor Award, the KY Partnership for Families and Children’s Libby Fernandez Award, and the Autism Speaks “Speak Out Award”.
