Joining Isaac and Omar for a Valentines mate date is London’s very own Disney princess, Maddison.



Valentines Day can be a real humdinger of misplaced hope and happiness if spent with the wrong person or, if you’re lucky, alone... but fortunately there were no such fears here because Maddison brought the toe tapping, feminist, feel good fiesta, Dirty Dancing as well as a whole heap of LOVE!



She also shared a bad date story, some searing vocals and a few scary yet sometimes sugar coated swear words.



Simply put, they had the time of their lives!

Joining Isaac and Omar for the first episode of 2019 is their close (Taint) friend Ayshe, a solid member of their squad and someone with strong opinions, morals and values.



Ayshe also brings bags of smiles, seriousness, sweetness and soul to any situation and when she joined them on the sofa she brought a film, which has that in spades.



Her choice was the best foreign language film of 2004, the Oscar and Bafta winning epic, The Motorcycle Diaries.



So with a “new year same me” mentality they shook off the festive cobwebs and went on a road trip of self reflection and discovery, which mirrored that of the film’s protagonists.



This episode also features another crafty bout of the film connection game as well as an awesome tale about Omar’s New Years Eve party. It also contains two FUAQ first mentions (but probably not the last) about Isaac’s deep love for The Incredibles and Omar’s legendary Mini 1275GT.

ALSO here is a description of how to play our new favourite party game “Danger Jenga”.



You will need a game of Jenga, marker pens and imagination.



Step 1. Divide the blocks equally between your players.
Step 2. Everyone takes a marker pen.
Step 3. They then write a dare/would you rather/question/either or…on one side of the block.
Step 4. They then repeat this on the other side.
Step 5. Repeat until everyone has completed all of their blocks.
Step 6. Now play the game as normal except - when a block is removed the player must read both sides to themselves. They must not reveal it to the other players.
Step 7. They then choose one side to answer/complete.
Step 8. They then nominate a player of their choice to answer/complete the other side of the block.
Step 9. HAVE FUN! BE CREATIVE!

On this short bonus episode Isaac and Patrick (the very first guest from Episode 1) embark on a trip Back To The Film Fair.



The Moviemania Film Fairs are where Isaac and Patrick spent many a Saturday looking for hooky pirate films, video nasties and German Laser Disc copies of Hellraiser II.  So seeing as they hadn’t done that for nearly 20 years, they figured Patrick’s Birthday was the perfect occasion to step back in time.



But will this reboot succeed or will it join the ranks of disappointing sequels where they shouldn’t have gone back?

Joining Isaac and Omar for this weeks very festive Christmas episode is their very merry mate, a Sexy Santa, Mr Bantaclaus himself, Solomon.



Solomon sauntered, swayed and stumbled into their lives via London's after party circuit (or an ex girlfriend depending on who’s telling the story) and he firmly established himself as a purveyor of big tales, laughs, energy and shoes.



When he joined them on the sofa he literally brought the party, in the form of the found footage, gross out and misunderstood masterpiece of mental mayhem, PROJECT X (the extended cut), which is not to be confused with the 1987 film starring Matthew Broderick and a Chimpanzee.



So with a very secret Santa gift exchange, a drinking game and some very vibesy vegan liqueur the three of them set about trying to replicate a party atmosphere, which is probably why the chat got pretty wavy by the end.  



This episode also features another bout of the film connection game as well as some awesome tales about the best parties they’ve ever thrown or attended.

Joining Isaac and Omar for a bumper episode this week are two people we couldn’t separate, because we love them both and they love each other, which is good because they married each other. Mia and Andy are such huge film, fantasy and Sci-Fi fans that they lovingly and thoughtfully brought us a dodgy heist film full of bad decisions and worse hairstyles, the “based on a true story" and straight to DVD anomaly that is Kidnapping Freddy Heineken.



The generosity didn’t stop there though because they also made the Vegan snack for Omar and had a couple of sweet stories to go with his sweet tooth.

Joining Isaac and Omar this week is the delightful Portia Ferrari, a firebrand fusion of creativity, activity and hustle. She’s also a huge gangster film fan so it was fitting that she brought us the Martin Scorsese epic, Gangs Of New York.



This episode was also recorded on World Vegan Day so it made sense to have another Vegan visit Omar’s studio and join us on the Sofa. However World Vegan day probably wasn’t the best time to watch a film filled with blood that features characters called Bill The Butcher and The Dead Rabbits.



Unperturbed we settled in to watch it, in its nearly two and half hour glory. After a few DVD glitches and plenty of chilli peanuts we found a film worthy of reappraisal 15 years on.
