    SEXY KRISTOFF NOAH RICKETTS

    SEXY KRISTOFF NOAH RICKETTS

Noah Ricketts once got apprehended at a Russian airport in the name of musical theater. TRUE STORY. Frozen's smooth singing Kristoff is with us this week!! Joe has three more days with the good people at Frozen on Broadway and Dan heads into the final stretch of the SOLD OUT run of Gun and Powder in DC. Our favorite part of this week is talking to Noah about the keys he uses to staying positive and fresh three years into a run of a show. He is entering his third year with Frozen after doing three plus years with the hit Beautiful: The Carole King Musical both on Broadway and on tour. We talk about gratitude lists, going on as Kristoff without a costume in Denver, the gift of training, and fighting Russian meddling in our musical theater.

    Patti FREAKING Murin

    Patti FREAKING Murin

ANA IS HERE!!! Joe sits down with Broadway's goofiest Princess to talk about The Bachelor, Nerds The Musical, wine, and all things Frozen. This one was REALLY cool as it was our first truly backstage interview bringing backstage at the St. James Theater in the star dressing room with Frozen's star. With Dan still in DC, Joe was on his own and, true to form, almost blew the entire interview with tech issues. The mics almost didn't work. SHOCKER. We are so grateful to Patti for taking time out of her day to let us pick her brain about what she will miss most about Frozen, what Caissie Levy means to her, and how she wants ALL the dogs....

    Kate Lumpkin Challenges the System

We're All At the Same Table. STOP SAYING "THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE". This is one for the quote board. Kate Lumpkin is FULL of amazing one-liners, life advice, and helpful tips to stop you from going crazy. We talked about stalking old women at the Korean Town YMCA, finding actors on the subway, and the good of social media... Yes... Dan was thrilled. We loved this conversation with our friend Kate and, frankly, we never wanted it to end. Kate most recently worked on the Bandstand National Tour, off-Broadway shows including We Are The Tigers, Medusa, and The Bad Years. She's SO smart. She's hilarious. She's a badass. Listen in.

In this life we are only as good as the company we keep and Reed is one of the best. We need our friends to survive this insane business of show and we were thrilled to talk with him. Ross Baum and Angelica Cheri Talk Gun And Powder!!

Gun and Powder COMING AT YOU! This week we are so excited to talk to the two people who gave Dan a job when no-one else would.. just kidding. BUT, seriously, Angelica Cheri and Ross Baum the writers of Gun and Powder are here!! Angelica calls Ross "The Jewish John Legend". We were so grateful to chat with them right as they were about to head to DC for the world premier of their new musical directed by Slave Play’s Robert O’Hara. The received the Richard Rogers Award for  Gun and Powder which they started writing together at NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program. This is such a great conversation with WRITERS. Anyone who has questions about the writing process (Joe and Dan definitely do) will love this conversation. Just a heads up... there were over 80 songs written for Gun and Powder... only 25 remain. That's writing a musical for ya. Check out this conversation before Gun and Powder heads to Broadway!!

    Bryan Langlitz: Actor Whisperer

    Bryan Langlitz: Actor Whisperer

THIS WEEK!! An actor therapy session with our friend Bryan Langlitz. Bryan was a senior at Michigan when Joe was a freshman  Bryan is a full fledged WORKING actor. He made his Broadway debut in Memphis and recently relocated to LA to pursue more of a path in TV and Film. The changing coasts was totally terrifying for Bryan and we talk all about the WORK. We talk about working smarter, doing the work on the self, how the audition starts from the moment you get the appointment, and how your credits really don’t matter. This was such a wonderful conversation and we’re so grateful Bryan was in New York for 48 hours. Keep working twice as hard as the person next you. If you're looking for an acting coach, check Bryan out at his website.
