Celebrities are such a huge part of our pop culture today, they seem to be everywhere online, verified on all social media platforms and are now even dipping their toes into the Youtube content creator space. When the pandemic happened though they faded into the background as we all tried to find a way to figure out how we would deal with the expected and unexpected consequences of COVID-19. Then they started posting online about their experiences and instead of the usual admiration and adoration they got from fans they were met with anger as everyone saw the economic and lifestyle divide of these figures and icons they once felt so close to. This week we'll talk about our reactions to celebrities as they  continued to post on various platforms quickly digging a deeper and deeper hole for themselves in the last several weeks.

Before there was Musically or Tiktok, there was Vine. Seven seconds of content that could become viral in a matter of hours, and to this day still provide jokes that are repeated and referenced ad nauseam by a whole generation. This week we talk about what Vine has meant to us, the way those seven seconds that have shaped our humor, and the aftermath of the shutdown of Vine.

The plastic ban straw may or may not be a topic of casual conversation for everyone, but it was one that came up quite early on in our friendship.
