“I Feel Like It’s All on Me‪”‬ Perry and Shawna

Having been sent to India for 3 days in preparation for our campaign with India Partners this week, Shawna put a lot of pressure on herself to bring her best to the campaign. After three nights of very little sleep, her body and mind were failing her on the first dayof the campaign.

She felt like she had failed. After a good, looooooong nap, the Lord gently reminded her that HE was the One doing the work. He’s God. We’re not.

Then, when Jesus calmed the storm for the disciples, were they at peace because the storm stopped, or because they realized they were in the presence of God?

Perry shares, “Sometimes I still have doubts that I’m secure in God’s forever family. And I think I always will. But I’ve learned what to do with these doubts.”

If you think the prize for giving your life to Jesus is heaven, you’re wrong. The prize for giving your life to Jesus is Jesus!

We all have moments when we feel like God is far away but God’s Word says that He will never leave us. Never!

We know we’re meant to live full on for Jesus and love people as he’s loved us. And when we don’t it can send us into God avoidance. But that’s precisely when we need to draw near!

Last, when God told Noah to build a boat, he built a boat. Even when there was no evidence that it would even rain much less flood the earth. What is God calling you to do?
