Having represented Australia for over seven years as a paralympian in swimming, Jess now spends a lot of her time as a motivational speaker and MC to an array of important topics and causes.
Dedicating her life to raising awareness around Mental Health and Mental Illness with specific emphasis on body image and eating disorders, having suffered through this a lot as a young adolescent and adult.
And I was lucky enough to sit down with this gorgeous woman and chat all things olympics, body image and her journey to self acceptance!

I remember the first time I discovered the gorgeous Emmylou, and there was just something about her that made me go ‘yup, she’s my people’. From that day I have been in awe this infectiously inspiring woman who has seen a rapid rise in the world of traditional and social media.
Having struggled to reach her goals and dreams of presenting and producing, Emmylou didn’t take her let downs and setback as a failure, but rather as the motivator to make shit happen!
When there were no knocks on the door she fucking built her own door and knocked on it herself by creating, producing and starring in her own LIVE television show, Dot Com Social.
But how did Emmylou even get to this place? What was the lead up to this point? How long did this journey take?
