This is a lengthy podcast. It is a recording of the Govan and South West Morning Star Readers and Supporters Group public meeting (11/10/17) themed 'Poverty, Homelessness and the Housing Benefit Cap.
Guest speakers were Labour Party Glasgow City Councillor Matt Kerr and Margaret Wood from Unite the Union.
The contributions and overall discussions were so good I decided to just put the whole thing out.
Be warned though, some of the examples of poverty & destitution cited are difficult to listen to. -
