Let's Watch Scary Movies Jenny & Kaitlin

Happy Halloween! And Happy birthday to us, we're two!
We love to be consistently inconsistent and keep you on your toes - who knows when the next episode might be released?! But we are doing our best to keep them coming.
This week we decided to tackle the beast that is Stanley Kubrick's polarizing ghost story, "The Shining."
Your whorror-hosts discovered pretty quickly that they actually watched different versions: Jenny watched the shorter European version, and Kaitlin watched the longer US cut (appropriately).
There's a lot going on as they compare versions, bring back the summary haiku, play "Rate the Bush," Jenny sings the soundtrack, Kaitlin gets really into the ATMOSPHERE, and we discuss whether or not Jack Nicholson has acting range, or is he just relying on those eyebrows??

We're back! Kind of!
We've decided to skip September entirely and head straight to October and the lead up to both Halloween and Jenny's impending birth!
The weather is changing, the clocks are going back, and the pumpkin spice candles are ablaze in anticipation...
This podcast may be haunted (by technical issues) but your whorror-hosts sound better than ever as they review Hannah Barlow and Kane Sene's independent Aussie horror, "Sissy," currently streaming now on Shudder.

A Series of Sequels part II comes to a close at long last with our final film in the series, James Cameron's, "Aliens."

The sequels have gotten incrementally better as we've worked our way through the films, so it makes sense to end on a high note...
