Steve Hartley is an expert QRP homebrewer and kit builder. He has completed numerous projects since getting his start back in 1983, before he was licensed as a radio amateur. He is a well-known advocate of ham radio, serving in various leadership positions for amateur radio organizations. Further, he volunteers much of his time providing teaching opportunities to adults and youth. He currently serves as chairman of the GQRP Amateur Radio Club, a club dedicated to promoting QRP homebrewing and kit building.
