    We all deserve a role in society. In this episode, Tim Ferguson runs through some common questions about employment for people with disability, the supports available to employers and organisations, and why employing a person with disability makes good business sense. Tim is joined by Graeme Innes and Ron Maxwell.
    Graeme Innes is former Australian Disability Discrimination Commissioner, and Human Rights Commissioner.
    Ron Maxwell is CEO of Verto, a not-for-profit organisation committed to assisting individuals the provision of apprenticeship, community support, employment and training services.

Greg describes his Autism as being a bit of a problem at times, as he doesn’t think the same way as other people, but without it, he wouldn’t have this unique ability or gift.

    Kylie Scott represented Australia by competing in the Special Olympics... TWICE. She won a silver medal in Dublin in 2003 and then went on to finish a course in Creative Arts at Sydney University. Her life motto is to “Keep Going” and to help people with disability break down barriers. Kylie lives with Down Syndrome.

Her life motto is “Life is like eating an ice cream, often difficult, sometimes messy but always enjoyable if you can find the sweetness in it”. Emily’s story is of grit and determination, to change the way people see her, before they see her disability. Emily lives with Cerebral Palsy.
