Perfect coffee break filler

Spending a lot of time with work (coding Ruby on Rails applications, of course) takes away from time one should also spend on research and learning. Reading web articles can be tedious and takes time as well. I have around 25+ Rails articles in my "To Read" bookmark folder but I never get around to actually going through with that. This is where Railscasts shines – I can simply turn it on during a coffee break and have a look at a new episode.

It's not intended to be a complete Rails tip collection and neither a complete introduction to Rails. But it is a nice way to learn a thing or two and refresh some old Rails knowledge. Working on a project for a longer period of time gets me into tunnel-thinking mode and Railscasts is a nice diversion. Thumbs up!
