Redefining Beauty with Liza Kawaller Beauty Lessons

    • Mode und Schönheit

On this episode of Beauty Lessons I talk to with spoken word artist, TEDx performer & my friend, Liza Kawaller aka PRISM. Her work has been seen at TedX, WeWork corporate conferences, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, fundraisers, music venues, and book launches for authors such as Amber Rae, Lily Hansen, and more. She specializes in writing custom pieces for brands + organizations to use for marketing + events, and likes to explore topics that may be traditionally difficult to talk or think about. She focuses on creating mental space for people to sit with some cognitive dissonance through her work, as well as exploring the creative process as it relates to personal growth. She sits on the board of Southern Word, and resides in East Nashville.  You can follow her work on instagram @prismthepoet

In this episode we talk about:

-How the hamster wheel of the entertainment industry can leave you feeling empty even when you’re being praised for your appearance and skills.

-How to listen to your intuition & cultivate your inner voice.

-How to carve out your own definition of beauty and find joy in your beauty routine.

Liza closes this episode by sharing an original poem she wrote about beauty.
