S2E15: The Men in Black and The Beekeepers Death Becomes Us

Welcome to the murder mystery show, choose your own adventure. This week we discuss two very heavy cases and it is a wild time. First we discuss the case of the Alcàsser Girls; Miriam García Iborra, Antonia "Toñi" Gómez Rodríguez and Desirée Hernández Folch were teenagers in Spain who were kidnapped, raped and tortured after hitchhiking to a nearby town to a night club on November 13, 1992. The case was notorious in Spain due to the extreme brutality of the crimes, shotty police work and heavy media coverage. The second case is the 1991 Austin Yogurt shop murders in which Amy Ayers, Eliza Thomas, Jennifer Harbison and her younger sister Sarah were murdered inside a yogurt shop where two of them were working. The shop was also set on fire and the case spanned several years, had a slew of false confessions and to this day has not been solved.
