In this week's devo, we look into how to truly live the Christian life in victory. It's one thing I've learned to make life work in the midst of chaos and hard-times and confusion.

Here's the idea: "Christianity was never meant to be walked alone. "

However in the world we live in, the lone-ranger type, self-made man or woman is often desired and sought. After childhood or depending on others we feel the natural next course is independence. We might even feel maturity is the ability to need no one.

But I think all of this is weakness. In fact, I’d say it’s prideful and vulnerable and dangerous.

Romans 10, speaks of believing with the heart and speaking with the mouth. I believe that our own mouths are necessary to get the word from heart to mind.

Oh how we need to grow in being others' focused. I see tremendous benefit is shifting out from self centeredness and understanding and looking into the needs of those around us. In person relationships, and business... In how we love God. Much can be accomplished by caring and giving attention to the needs of the people God brings into our lives.
