Nick and Louise are dear friends and fellow participate in "The Following". Nick is one, in series, of "strong men" God has provided to speak into my life.  Jim Kennedy, Gene Warr, Alvin O Turner, John Duthie, Dr Dean Williams, Nick Spanner, Peter Goulstone, Brian Pankhurst, Kirk Humphreys and Virgil Coffee are "to a man" Followers of the Lord Jesus. They have provided me  with counsel, direction and protection. They all had huge, dominant personalities but also humble hearts and a willingness to invest their lives in me.
That's why I'm asking all to pray for Nick and Louise Spanner, Pray that God would, by His Mercy and Grace, grant Nick sufficient number of days to complete all that you have for him to do.  May you give Nick and Louise an abundance days, together, to fully develop the love for each other that you gave life.

In this episode we look at the the moment where the apostle Peter rises to assume the leadership of The Following. As we observe Peter learn and lead we will get  a clearer sense of what it means to be in The Following. How did Peter show those who " have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him."

That's important because that is us.



 

Jesus disappeared into a cloud and left his little band of followers with a little job to do. Take the Gospel to the world. When you look around the world today it looks like they did a pretty good job. Today we arrive at the beginning of the transformation from a tiny Jewish sect to a global movement.They needed a leader.Peter Stood Up.

Kitty and I are still getting used to not having our mothers on the same side of eternity with us. So we take a break from our following Jesus following Jesus  to think about our mums. there are couple of songs I recorded 38 years ago, HELP!
